Yahoo Advanced Web Search with Creative Commons and Subscriptions
Wendy Boswell from About.com reported that Yahoo! today has added Creative Commons in their Advanced Search page. Creative Commons "is a nonprofit organization offering a flexible copyright for creative work", so basically when you check off the CC search box on the Yahoo Advanced Search page, you're searching pages that have a Creative Commons license.

Also, at the bottom of the Advanced Search page, you'll see the ability to search Subscriptions. The text states: "Select from the sites below to include their content in your web search results. To view content you will need a subscription to the site(s) below. For some sites you will need to pay for the subscription." The content includes Consumer Reports , LexisNexis , and Factiva. Both of these search services are in beta.
