Is Your Site Certified Search Engine Friendly?

It's been said time and time again by search engines that "if you make it easy on us, we will make it easy on you." A site that is not search engine friendly or worse yet, violates the search engine terms of service can affect the ability of spiders to crawl and index your pages, or worse yet, get you banned from the index altogether.

We have seen the simple mistakes made by new and experienced webmasters alike that have seriously affected the spiderability and search engine friendliness of a site and have negatively impacted their results in the SERP's.

So what can you do to ensure that your site is Search Engine Friendly?

Simple.
GET SEARCH ENGINE CERTIFIED by Web Marketing Now.

We perform an in depth review of your site and look at it with "spider eyes" as well as several other factors to ensure that your site has no issues that could cause problems for spiders attempting to crawl your site or potential indexing problems.. some of the areas we look at include:

  • Proper use of Title Tag- used in the SERP's to display your page
  • Proper use of Meta Tags- this includes the use of DTD statements, content type, and meta refresh tags
  • Proper use of Alt Text attributes- a potential spam flag
  • No meta or 301 redirects for the home page- search engines hate these.
  • Java and CSS in an external file- these clutter the code so spiders need more time to crawl the page.
  • abundant broken links- spiders follow links, and so do visitors.
  • site speed- clean code loads faster and is more easily indexed by spiders.
  • easy to find contact information and privacy statement- search engines. in particular Google, will look for this.
  • spiderability- (no dynamic url spider traps) dynamically generated pages that do not employ a mod rewrite statement create infinite repetitive links for spiders and pose issues for the search engines.

We recommend that you first review the above list to ensure that these flags won't cause your site to fail certification, although they are not all we check for. If we review your site and find that it cannot be certified, don't worry, we will send you the reasons and solutions to bring it into compliance. All you have to do is make the changes and let us know to recheck the site.

*** Note: If your site promotes illegal activity, porn or gambling, Web Marketing Now will not consider it for certification.

Standard pricing is $500.00 per year. with periodic reviews to ensure the site still complies with guidelines.
